Germany is saddled with the VAT system and high import taxes in Europe, which makes everything expensive. Their gas is 4 times as expensive as ours due to their taxes ....my question was the price of electricity..........they have a huge renewable installation............why is the price of electricity TWICE that of neighboring Czech Republic?.............they generate their electricity with coal and nuclear.
