sonki and all: Intel earnings _ Gruntel view on digital-jam CNN-fn Mona Eraiba of Gruntel comments: INTC: PC industry has been strong. Intel will meet the expectation of .95. It will be important what Intel's outlook for 1998. AMD: will announce the earnings and the conference call at the same time as Intel. Expects a loss for the 4th quarter and a loss in the 1st quarter. AMD has not been able to meet the K6 targets. Likes: Intel; VLSI; MOT; and some other co. rgds ANANT
