An individual TIN can be assigned by the Social Security Administration. It is very hard to avoid payroll (i.e. FICA taxes) unless working for cash but illegals use the Max deduction scam to avoid Income taxes. Illegals still use a multitude methods to "fly under the radar". They use multiple names, SSN's, individual TIN's, exploit the loopholes in E-verify, etc. etc. but when it comes to the "illegals pay taxes" argument, they don't. The only taxes they pay are sales taxes and gas taxes, and state lottery taxes. Oh they don't play power ball but they play scratch off tickets like crazy. G-n-G
