The Mid-West bracket looks real tough.

Kansas, Duke and Michigan State are #1, #2 and #3 respectively. But, that bracket is also loaded with potential bracket busters like Clemson (#5), Auburn (#4), Rhode Island (#7), Arizona State (#11) and Seton Hall (#8).

The East bracket has Villanova at #1 and Purdue at #2 and little else. Arkansas (#7), Florida (#6) and West Virginia (#5) are iffy bracket busters.

Virginia (#1) has practically no major threats in the South bracket, maybe Arizona (#4) and nothing after that.

In the West bracket, Xavier looks good at #1, but could be ousted by North Carolina (#2) or Gonzaga (#4). Bracket busters there include Michigan (#3), Houston (#6) and Missouri (#8).

I don't see any #1 seeds losing to a #16 this year. I also see Xavier and Kansas as the most likely first #1 seed to lose this year.

EK!!!
