If the award to Sun makes sense for developers, then why is this a victory for MSFT?

Well, I'm sure Ayn Rand explained it somewhere. Me, I'm skeptical about the whole convergence thing anyway, it only makes sense when you're watching TV by yourself, and who wants to do that? Of course, it's not for me to say, not even being a cable subscriber, but with more than one watcher, the web/tv thing sounds like watching someone else channel surf, raised to the nth power. Or watching someone else read a book.
