Yes, those were the daze...had a 68 Cadillac silver hearse for awhile, traded it to a biker for a Mercury Capri. The hearse was perfect for them, the slab that moved the coffin still worked, so they could transport kegs much easier. And I liked that Capri, it had a lot of pop.

Had a 73 12 cylinder Jag for awhile, never could get the 4 carburetors to work in harmony. I could get it to run like a bear for 2-3 days, then it would start to skip, plus it had an overheating problem I couldn't figure out. Sold it to a guy who took Jags and removed the drive train and replaced it with Chevy stuff. He gave you a Jag ride with a maintainable drive train. He had a 2 year waiting list.

Then there was the 64 Valiant ragtop....I better stop, enough nostalgia. I love the car I have now, an 89 Crown Vic, a fine cruisin automobile.
