There are other dimensions. Angels and evil spirits can appear as physical things they are not, independent of our four-dimensional space & time. Defying our known laws of physics is nothing.
Here is documentation of Phillip being instantaneously transported:
(Acts 8:39-40) "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. {40} But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cæsarea."
Here is Lot eating with materialized angels:
1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
Here are Lot's two angels instantaneously transporting Lot and family out of Sodom before it gets nuked:
(Genesis 19:16) "And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city."
Here is King Saul with the witch of Endor, being deceived by a spirit portraying itself as the late prophet Samuel:
(1 Samuel 28:11-14) "Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. {12} And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. {13} And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. {14} And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself."
Here are Jesus and Satan glancing at human history in an instant:
(Luke 4:5) "And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time."
Here are long-past Elijah and Moses appearing with the transfigured Jesus:
(Mark 9:2-4) "¶ And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. {3} And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. {4} And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus." |
