I contacted Zenith to inquire as to why the series of January 8th press releases did not receive widespread distribution. This was the reply, received today, from John Taylor at Zenith: "[the] news releases [were] targeted for the trade press. It's premature to promote HDTV or the Intel alliance at this time to the consumer and business press. When these products get closer to reality, you'll be hearing more from us and see more activity in the wire services."

My response to Zenith and its public relations staff - WAKE UP!
