Read my type (and others who care)! Do not think that MOT cannot start a drop. MOT is regarded as a first sign, if anything is bad to come. Expectations were high, and were cut back and back, but other companies expectations were high, and were not cut back as much. Just the words:
During the fourth quarter, the deterioration of economic
conditions in certain Asian markets had an impact in terms of slowing the growth of sales, orders and profits, as well as putting pressure on pricing,

Could have a huge effect on all stocks. MOT may not have been to effected, but that it is left to be seen of the other 15,000 or more traded companies. They came short of even the most recent revisions. Therefore one is left to believe that other companies can, and most definitely will come short of expectations. In a way MOT can handle it better than other companies. Take a company that has yearly sales of say 1 billion. A fluctuation as we have seen in ASIA can greatly effect a company of that size. The market, is made up mainly of companies this size, and the bigger ones can fend for themselves, much better. MOT is a sign of what lie ahead.
