Excuse me for butting in. It sounds like you don't want to get assigned, so why let it happen? If it's because your calls are too dear, simply sell next months calls at the same strike. This is always a net credit trade (unless of course you've got DELL options at less than 55 strike where they don't have Feb options -- ouch!).
