Steve, the guests fill out cards, yes. There are follow-up phone calls, but not any follow-up visits that I know of. I passed that suggestion/idea on to our pastor, also.
I'm not involved in it as I'd like to be. This job, with its total unpredicatability, makes me unsuitable for being something like a home group host, who could be depended on to be there. I had dreams of becoming independently rich via the stock market, so I could cut back drastically or even totally quit this job. But, it hasn't worked out yet, nowhere near.
God has his own plans and I rest contentedly waiting for them to unfold.
