I respect your opinion but us Canucks up here have had a LIBERAL government for most of this past century and we're a long way from being communist. I've never understood how the right in the U.S. managed to link liberal with communist. In Canada, there is no linkage. The Communist Party of Canada, which exists as some obscure entity, has a totally different platform from the Liberals, who are pretty mainstream and swing slightly right or left of center depending on the political climate.
