I dont think the airline stocks are remotely discounting the disruption that is coming and highway driving is likely to be automated fairly quickly. Really this question is more broad than that. When does the market start questioning the long-term earnings of a variety of industries that are likely to be disrupted? It might be a failure of imagination on my part but I have found it easier to identify opportunities on the short-side than the long side due to automated driving. Slacker
