I just switched over to my local newscast to catch the locals sports report. They just started to replay an interview with John Calipari on how superstitious he is. For example, no player is allowed to cut his hair on game day, and no raisins are allowed in the breakfast oatmeal. On the latter, he said they (Kentucky) were 27-0 one year with a 50-game win streak, and that morning they served raisins in his oatmeal, which he promptly threw against the wall. They lost. He also thinks finding bobby pins are good luck and collects the ones he finds. I guess whatever works.
