Don't know how I missed reading this one. . . oh yeah, I can't get on!! T.R., what are you doing all the way back here/there? I called my broker this morning to see if CPQ had fallen yet to my buy limit. The assistant said that was one of the things they spoke of when they first got to work this morning. No luck, only dropped a point. Of course we know what DELL did, don't we (dammit all to . . .!!) Talked to a friend who works for Intel. He told me he is no longer working with processors. Says it has been flash memory (whatever that is) for quite awhile. Told me AMD is coming out with some type of computer in the 200 mhz range for around $700 dollars. Acted like Intel might be worried about it. Says he may be transferred to another facility I guess because they're not producing chips like they have been in the past. I told him, "Great, our measely 486, 75mhz just got a whole lot more worthless." So, you stay'in quiet for a reason, or are you hang'in out elsewhere? Hope the market is treating you well (Eating my heart out over DELL)
