Earlie,

You really amaze me. I thought you grasped the fundamentals of MU but you're brainwashed just as the other "forever bears" are on this thread.

First you indicate that MU is "selling assets to stay alive". They are selling assets that are not needed for their core business as every other smart company is doing today. They do not need their construction co. or MUEI and they still own 64% which I am sure if they could find a buyer they would readily dump it.

Secondly, Of course they are taking on debt but $500M is not a lot for their co. All companies take on some debt.

Third, Of course their asps were higher last year for 16mb...memory always drops in price...the DRAM is being replaced with SDRAM that is over $4 and that is 70% of MUs product. My friend you are definitely the delusionary one for not recognizing that MUs contract prices are this high.

Earlie, just as MU led the market with 4mb chips and then 16mb chips it will also do it with SDRAM and then if needed 64mb SDRAM...unfortunately you just don't get it with 64mb chips...They are not cost effective now and may NOT be for some time.PERIOD...and when they are MU will be there pumping them out faster and cheaper than most others...but as I said to you before crossover may not be the criteria anymore since 16mb chips are so low, it will be when the PII or faster systems need the 128mb and higher memory.

You are all so brainwashed by your regurgitation of the same nonsense that you can not see the reality of what is really happening in this commodity market and who the real winners are...Unfortunately the real winners are stuck in a lousy sector but if and when the Koreans are not funded anymore for selling products at a loss just to keep their people employed, companies like MU will flourish very quickly...and we are beginning to see that happening now.

Good Luck Trading
