Dennis, *** OT browser ***
I have no experience with IE browsers. I've used Netscape Communicator V4.04 since last Thursday, probably a total of 20 hours. Today I had
a crash while sending e-mail. Otherwise it has been fine. The old
Navigator V3 browser used to crash every day, or even more often.
When it did, I simply restarted the browser. The internet connection
did not get interrupted. There could be other things contributing. My PC has a Pentium 200MMX and 32MB RAM.

You could alternate between your IE and Netscape browsers until
you develop a preference. A good place to search for info on this
and many other PC topics is ZDnet. zdnet.com
