I just found a new reason to stay away from / "hate" Apple. My wife's Ipad is in need of a new battery as it's down to maybe a couple of hours or run-time. Easy / cheap fix I thought as replacement batteries are around $40. That was until I decided to check into how difficult replacing the battery might be. Difficult doesn't even begin to describe it. Next to impossible would be the much better description. No wonder Apple is a cash cow. They make it virtually impossible to "fix" their gismos thus forcing people to throw away otherwise perfectly good equipment. What a racket !!!
