Robert, I'm puzzled. The WSJ story said...

Semiconductor sales rose 11% to $2.1 billion, while orders rose 10%. The segment posted an operating profit, reversing a loss in the year-ago period. The amounts weren't disclosed.

Great! But the story linked by Dave D. says...

SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--Motorola Inc. here today said its Semiconductor Products Sector suffered an operating loss in the final quarter of 1997, but its chip sales increased 11% compared to the final three months of 1996.

Not so great! Which news story will the market act on tomorrow?
