Arnie: Thanks for the info, Mark thanks also, how about analysts perception?

I was hoping that MOT's 4th qtr,if better than expected, would cause a rebound to MOT's stock, also resulting in a rebound to NXTL. It would really be nice if the analytical community realized that the communication industry is not related to the crisis in Asia. As a matter of fact, the US communication industry is one of the few industries that will benefit from Asia's new lower manufacturing costs.

I have a few manufacturing clients that, years ago used to rely on Asia for plastic injection molded products. The Asian prices got so high that they have turned back to US manufacturing. I also have US plastic injection molding companies, as clients, their business has boomed because the Asian competition has priced themselves out of the world wide market. Of course, now that Asian economy has broken down it will affect the US competitors through price deflation, however on the other side it opens up buying opportunities for those that want to acquire Asian companies.

In any case, MOT should realize decreased product costs from the Asian crisis and hopefully take the communication industry upward with it.

Roader: As I said in a prior post, NXTL's subs don't mean much in this screwed up market place. Positive press, re: the communication industry as a whole, would sure go a long way to educating the investor population that the this industry is the place that real money should be invested.

Regards from
a still positive, Al G.
