*AV* -- Looks like everyone went to bed. Gee Whiz, taking 10,700 without even a fight or a whimper.

Talk about whimpering. Today's DOW and NASDAQ roller coaster was rather nauseating as far as I am concerned.

I don't know if Cindy has posted it yet but FTEL finally has applied for NASDAQ listing. It is a good 8-10 weeks away according to the news release. Plenty of time for the market to do what it will do and then settle down.

I was real busy today trying to repair 4 PCs. Damn neighbors and friends (gotta love them) wanted to keep me busy and asked for help upgrading their systems. One person gave me a 286 (no kidding and no typo here) and asked me to upgrade as best as I could. He wound up with a 486DX2-66 when I got through with it. Most of it spare parts hanging around the house (motherboard from my previous Pentium upgrade). You never saw someone in 7th heaven. He thinks its a screamer of a system. OH WELL.

Bad part of day was trying to upgrade a system that had a flakey 425 Meg IDE drive which just happened to lose its FAT in both locations. System had a major coronary. Was still on Win3.1 with a homemade menu screen and a Soundblaster (not even Pro). Both is she mad at me because she lost all her games. No data and no programs other than games. Talk about your great uses for a PC.
