I want to brainstorm an idea past other investors here..

Is there ANY legal obstacle to a damages settlement that requires Sinovel/Chinese Gov't to do a share placement with AMSC for a price FAR HIGHER than the current one.. say $100-200/share?

We know that AMSC, reverse splits taken into account, was equivalent to $400/share back in 2010.

We also know that Sinovel still has a large number of Turbines that require support/upgrade for the remainder of their service life. So restoration of the previous contracts would be a requisite as well for this settlement idea.

China will not want to lose face by paying an actual fine, so would this provide a middle ground where both parties are permitted to save "face", restore a working relationship, and restore some of the damaged market cap that AMSC investors have suffered over the past 7 years?

I see it as a win-win solution..

Thoughts?
