| I agree with everything you said. However, you take these facts and then jump to the conclusion that Socialism is better than Capitalism. By your own admission what we have in this country is NOT Capitalism. It is a devolved entropic free for all where the rich get richer at the expense of everyone else. Regulation and laws have broken down and since the demise of Christianity in favor of atheism, agnosticism, Islam, nihilism, and social media addiction, we no longer have the morals and taboos to keep us the worst angels of our nature in check. The solution is not Socliasm or Marxism or Communism. The solution is a return to our values based society, liberally informed by Christianity's core values, and a return to protecting the rights enshrined in our Constitution, and a return to free market Capitalism, with a very hard core enforcement against runaway social media exploitation, the destruction of our privacy and personal rights, and the absolute corruption running rampant in the FBI, NSA, CIA, Congress, and elsewhere in our bloated and engorged government octopus. While we're at it, let's break apart the too big to fail banks and reinstate Glass-Steagel, abolish the Fed, let interest rates float on the open market, pass a law where Congress shall spend no more than the tax revenues collected, and pass another law that says Congress shall pass no law that exempts them from any other law they pass, including abominations like Obamacare. |
