Even a camera-only system should have reacted and maybe reduced the impact. If I have time to see the woman when primed for an event, an always-on system should have been able to engage the brakes and slow the vehicle. I wouldn't be too hard on a human for not hitting the brakes in time, I do fault an autonomic system for not doing better than an alert human. Ashley
