Just sold 15 January 18 2019 puts on XOM for 3.75.

If put to me mu net purchase price will be 66.25 (66.55 is the 3 year low) will watch but I'd love top have this dividend payer in my portfolio .

Dividend yield would be 3.08 / 66.25 = 4.65%.

I think a 5% plus dividend yield is too low to expect on xom.

Premium to net purchase price = 3.75 / 66.25 = 5.66% /.83 (ten months out) = 6.82% on the collateralized cash - better than a bank.

First position hope to get more!
