It ain't a black cloud...it's called trading, sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you. Now beyond that wisdom you may want to look at whetther you think SSYS could become a winner, and what your convictions are towards that, and your time frame.
IMHO SSYS is in an excellent position (primary market share so far as I know) and they've gotten hit with a couple of bad sales quarters on top of some technical glitches they've run into (now solved) so they are now in a somewhat oversold position.
So the question you may be wanting to ask yourself if the conviction is there is should I average down (if you're in a postion to), otherwise you may want to just get out.
I model this company after 2 other companies that went through similar situations Trimble (TRMB) and Microtouch (forgot the symbol). Both companies were leaders in their respective fields, went through bad quarters and the stock got halved (at least) in both instances. Within about a year they were back to where they had been, plus some.
Also, lots of companies I've thought about buying collapse, I then look to see why and whether it looks to me like a "fire sale" (I lean towards "bottom fishing" if you can't tell). Timing is everything...
Hope this has helped & good luck with SSYS.

Peter

PS. I've been watching SSYS for over a year now and nearly bought a couple of times, I'm going to be watching it over the next couple of months to see when it starts to trend higher, at which point I'll probably jump in.
