Why did Obama push for more spending? Because republicans turned the entire country into welfare queens who want, want and want but no one wants to pay for what they want. It's what conservatism had done to the country.

Pass an amendment to the Constitution requiring every republican who proposes spending to pay for the spending with tax increases and the party dies within seconds.
