INFN makes their own components which puts a moat around their IP at least in the hardware. It makes the fixed costs higher which is a double whammy during down cycle, but gives you the ability to quickly and reliably ramp inventory to deliver without the tricky supply chain and inventory issues when you are dependent on third party suppliers. Also, it quickly translates into high margin profits in the boom cycle. Being in house during international trade negotiations might be a positive too-
