Jim-- Visibility 8km. Really? Now don't you think the pilot would be aware there was a mountain in the flight path? At 8km the runway would have been visible. THe weather was overcast and visibilty was minimal. The main problem was the pilot was 1 mile off course, probably due to compass deviation. ben
