Yep.... an overall sane and well adjusted person drives a car, and someone cuts him off. No harm is done, but there was a moment of danger, a threat - and it will evoke a fight or flight emotional response. Fortunately, normally, normal people will not act on it. But it's there.

About Nazis - their problem with the Judeo-Christian tradition is they felt it was oppressing and ensnaring the wonderful energetic beast inside human beings - that it was too civilizing... in fact, a trap. In essence, they were pagans. They couldn't yet act openly against Christianity (like communists did in the USSR), but they could kill Jews, the perceived root of the problem.
