I quit TV in 2002, then signed up again to follow the Iraq Invasion in 2003, then quit again in 2004. These days I use Twitter for breaking news, just like the networks do. I follow up on YouTube for talking head commentary.

It's too bad there's such a small market for non-fake TV news. All the money is in cheap infotainment.

Yesterday, Scott Adams was bitching about CNN's interview with the Playboy model -- yet he steers his viewers to CNN almost every day, just as Drudge constantly steers his massive viewership to NYT and WaPo. These guys point the finger at Fake News, but they depend on it to make their livings.
