ANW I was one of the parties that was hosed by this despicable event regarding the HEC acquisition. I recently acquired it at $4

Fortunately, I knew the deal stunk badly and sold at the open on the date of the announcement and exited for a 50 cent per share loss ( certainly better than the $1.85 loss it is currently undergoing).

I wish the activists luck but after trying to be an activist myself with other firms its difficult unless you have a near controlling stake which they do not.
