After the bell, Xilinx pre-anounced earnings for the quarter. They said around 30 cents. That is 8 cents below expectations. Xilinx will probably get killed tommorrow. I wonder if Altera will too. They report on the 9th. With Xilinx missing so bad, you have to wonder if there is any way in the world Altera could hit. It might be a good time to sit on the sidelines a while. If I can get above 48 tommorrow, I think I will sell and look for a chance to get back in late in October. Technically speaking, if the stock breaks 50, the next stop will probably be 40. Any other thoughts?
