Ron,
As any fool can see, the prices of drilling and service companies have come down with the price of oil. However, their earnings are dependent on the amount and rates for drilling activity--which do not necessarily track the price of oil. The stronger correlation is with consumption. Earnings for the last quarter should be very strong, and all indications are that drilling activity & rates continue strong. That means big opportunity in these stocks.
