SF,
The South Portland, Me. (NSM) plant has quite a bit of AMAT equipment
that should be able to produce 0.25uM devices. I think the main
equipment set they require is DUV steppers, and there was an article
posted on the CYRX/NSM thread that this would happen soon. I expect
that there will need to be some "upgrades" to existing AMAT equipment
and possibly some strategic purchases, but the fab has been in a
"production" ramp up for about a year as it comes on-line. The
majority of the equipment was bought early last year.
