I noticed that MOT's profitability was rather low overall, but that might be ok for a company heavily weighted toward high-volume consumer products. What surprised me was its low gross margin for semiconductor segment at 4.2%. Does this mean that it will not pose a serious threat for the systems-on-a-chip companies like LSI, VLSI?

If anyone here follow MOT, please help to determine how long has MOT had this really low margin for semiconductor? Thanks.
