Earnings season is coming in a couple of weeks and it should be interesting. Bank profits should be massive. The only question is whether investors/traders will push bank stocks higher? Honestly, I don't know. If earnings are perceived as the best it gets, then the answer is probably not. Or, maybe no one cares again and investors/traders just buy, buy, buy. Thing is it feels like a bear market to me. But tomorrows sentiment data should be extremely bearish from AAII.

As for gold and the Miners, I'm not really surprised by the price action over the last 2 days. An end of quarter close above $1330 would have been very bullish. Now we are back to the same old numbing bearish crap. It's not as if I didn't consider this possibility before the big break out. I certainly did. That's why I kept my position size small. But I'm still very disappointed.

And the manipulation you speak of doesn't matter. All that primarily matters is price, charts and technicals.
