They weren't really Ukraine's atomic bombs, they were just located there. Given a lot of Ukrainian antipathy to Russia it's understandable that Russia wanted atomic bombs out of there. It was a rebalancing of the situation given USSR collapse. NATO took over east Germany and a lot more besides. Now that I think of it, NATO is a lot more like Hitler than Putin is where military expansion is concerned. NATO is now in the Baltics peering into Russia. Come to think of something else, Jews in NATO countries are being as unnerved as in 1930s Germany with regular murderous attacks on them. That's not the case in Russia. If you criticize Moslems in NATO countries you go to gaol or at least are "detained". Germany is taking over Europe again but in a different way. The Poms want to escape. Russia is resisting, again. Obama organized a Kiev coup and was interfering vastly more in Ukraine than Russia did in the Trump election ... the Russia Russia Russia hysteria is laughable. Some pathetic Facebook ads had zero influence on the election. It's a joke. And Trump enjoys the joke and hoped Russia had Hillary's emails ... but the media foamed st the mouth at Trump's joke, which made it even funnier. Forget about Crimea. There is no problem at all there. Stop the insurrection in Ukraine. They can organize their own country. Forget Zbig's MADness. He's dead and caused enough carnage with giving Russia their own Vietnam in Afghanistan. But now Afghanistan is another USA Vietnam, complete with 911 compliments of Osama the mujihadeen who beat good old Gorby and turned against USA. Don't worry about papers signed during a big mess. That's legalistic word-thinking as Scott Adams calls it. What's best to do now? That's what matters. Mqurice
