And I get this post from the guy who uses the "I've got a gay relative!" as an excuse for his opinions... (do you have a Jewish banker, too) Pretty much everyone has a gay relative. Because it's probably a genetic thing. People are gay even in places where they will kill you if you are gay. You don't think those people would probably rather not have been born that way? Poor Alan Turing- chemically castrated for being gay. You think he wouldn't rather haven been straight? When you add the science to the desperate situations gay people, mostly men, are put in by repressive assholes, I can't imagine why anyone would think it's volitional. Did you read the articles and studies I put out for you? What I said was a prediction. But I am very comfortable standing by it- given the developing science in the area, which I am quite sure you do not follow. I'm not sure why you would call it "real science" when I don't call it "real science". Did you think I thought my opinion was science? I am, however, sure my opinion is based on a lot more science than yours is. But I wouldn't call that science, either.
