You don’t get a lot of economics in an accounting curriculum unfortunately 12 hrs maybe).

But you do get a lot in your MBA program. So, I understood some of it at the time. None of it matters. And you said it here:

“As long as people BELIEVE, we can print as much as we like.”

The BELIEVING part is where it all falls apart. People will believe for a long time when they can’t really see or understand what is happening. But as multiple states enter positions of untenable debt (where basic expenses plus interest on debt exceed available revenue) there is a realization the debt is worthless. In this case it will be worldwide.

The result will be a collapse of currencies and debasement, and a depression that makes the Great Depression look like party time.

I dont really know if you have kids, but I do and I think it is shameful we are leaving that to our future generations.
