You're saying women shouldn't be out after dark or something? Perhaps the woman worked a late shift, lots of people do. Perhaps she was getting home from a trip. It doesn't matter why she was out. As for why she didn't have a gun in her car, perhaps she didn't have a carry permit and was a law abider.
