Rushing TDs are of course important, but they are largely a function of a team’s red zone offense. LaGarrett Blount led the NFL in rushing TDs in 2016 and the Pats thought so much of it they let him walk.

I think yards per rush is probably a better metric for evaluating a RB. And then there’s the eye test. We’ve seen these guys play and probably all have our favorites.
