Thanks for starting this thread Josh. I'm not diabetic but my mother has been dealing with this for close to 30 years. Like your friend my mother has never been overweight. She is 88 and has to take 4 shots a day. I don't think people understand how much your life changes when you get this disease. If this thread can help someone avoid that it is very worthwhile.
