On a related topic, I mentioned several weeks ago of a small company providing enterprise security software for lans, wans and websites called Netegrity, otc symbol NETE. Tiny company with only 12.5 mm shares outstanding (3.33 just purchased by NYC institutional investor Dawson-Samburg) and $ 25 mm fully diluted market cap.
This is an infant market, which will come to NETE, I believe, since their Siteminder security product is compatible with all access tokens out there and works with both Netscape and Microsoft browers.
Company just started selling product in Q4 97 and does not expect to be profitable until Q4 98, but to date has an impresssive array of initial sales, including Boston Globe, GTE's BBN internet service provider, EMC Corporation and others. Check it out. A friend of mine is calling the company to suggest they solicit SI for providing security on the SI network.... My personal target for the stock is > $ 6.00 later this year, assuming software revenues accelerate and the company becomes profitable. Headquartered in Waltham, MA, your territory, I believe, John Curtis. |
