Personally I'd prefer to stay away from personal attacks in political discussions, but its not like David Hogg himself has shied away from such attacks. You enter the political arena, esp. if you do so with a lot of your own personal attacks, and your a legitimate target.

Which doesn't mean that LI wasn't rude. It certainly doesn't mean that her decision was wise. Hogg has the PR upper hand for now at least on personal status issues. Rightly or wrong (mostly wrongly IMO), he gets the shelter of being "just a kid", and "a survivor", while at the same time being able to sling mud with near impunity.
