Talk radio and fox spew endless mud at Democrats with impunity.

That's a two way street. Other spin endless mud at Republicans, or at talk radio and Fox News.

Along comes a kid and he fights for an issue he believes in and you write he's, "able to sling mud with near impunity."

Because he is. He's far from the only one that's fighting for an issue he believes in. He does sling mud all over as part of his fight. And sure he's far from the only one to do so, most people doing so wouldn't be able to pressure Laura Ingram (or the closest equivalent figure on the left) to a quick apology by getting their sponsors to drop out.

Yes she was rude, but so is he. He dishes it out, but when someone responds in kind he goes after their sponsors. And the tactic works for him when often it doesn't for other people or organizations most of the time.
