Did you know what they were when you saw them? You had way more up there than they had in Tofino.

I haven't seen any yet down here in the Strait of Georgia but we very often get those huge red jelly fish, sometimes yellowish. Can barely walk on the beach, there are so many. It's kind of sad, really. They must serve a purpose.

On another note, we have an outstanding amount of starfish, in many varieties. I often wonder why we don't fish for them and eat them, considering their abundance. We seem to eat just about everything else from the ocean.
