Windows 10’s Redstone 4 (version 1803) is the next major release set to deliver a new wave of features and improvements. Although we’re still days away from the final release, there has been a number of previews unveiling the changes coming to the platform.

In this guide, we’ll take a closer look at the new features and changes Microsoft has been working for the fifth feature update of Windows 10 releasing in spring 2018 — which it’s expected to carry the “Spring Creators Update” marketing name.

Windows 10 Redstone 4 release date: Although the officially launch date hasn’t yet been announced, we know that the version number indicates the year and month of completion of the update. In this case, version 1803 indicates that the update will be done in March (03) 2018 (18), followed by the worldwide launch only a few days after. So, we can expect the Windows 10 Redstone 4 release date to be sometime in the early days of April. Initially, Microsoft will begin rolling out the update with its new features to select devices that are known to work with the new version, and then the rollout will expand to other devices. (Update: The Spring Creators Update is expected to release on April 10, 2018.)
