Hi Jim - Last Sunday, I was replacing 2 hdds w/ a larger hdd in my PC when I started thinking about SCSI. No doubt, SCSI has a lot of miles on it. I'm thinking short term, i.e., 440LX and later chipsets like SCSI. I suspect ADPT's current customer base is a natural for Fibre Channel. I was browsing the web looking for the major Fibre Channel players, but was interrupted. Do you recommend any Fibre Channel plays? As you stated, Fibre Channel is the next latest and greatest, but after my experience w/ AMTX I'm looking a little more short term. OTOH, Fibre Channel doesn't have to deal with the Telecommunications Act or the telcos... at least not yet... Do you see on the Fibre Channel on the desktop? This my third rewrite of this message! Interruptions and such. Good to hear from you, Mike
