I could put my dog's afternoon poop into a nice looking package and put a nice label on the box that says, "Really healthy food" and many people would buy it and think they're eating really healthy food...
I could also say it contains no fat (although probably not true), the product is all natural, contains no artificial ingredients, and has been proven to aid in weight loss along with a proper diet and exercise... I could say anything accurate but completely irrelevant and many people would believe it to be a legitimate form of health food, and I could also sell it at Whole Foods at a much higher price... Is there any wonder why companies pay hundreds of millions of dollars for great advertising campaigns and tens of millions of dollars for a quick 15 second commercial on television... because many people are truly and sadly gullible and believe most anything they hear...
Many of us are like little kids at a magic show, we all want to believe in magic, but the adult in us reminds us that it's all nothing more than clever deception...
Fake is fake, fake is not real... fake sugar is fake food, who are we kidding, it's not real and should never be consumed...
